Smack dab in the middle of a Czech-style dark and Scharzbier, a Siren Song gives us just a little bit of hope that mystical fantasy can become reality.

The ninth track in our "One Hop Wonder" brings a new hop to the game for us: Azacca.

We’ve found this particular crop of Azacca redefines our impression of this hop. It brings big tropical notes with a citrusy twang, dried papaya, and pineapple zest. It’s a flavor profile that will make you feel like you’re lounging in the Rainforest watching the sunset.

Inspired by the complex depth of traditional mole, Lost Riches owes its earthy, nutty foundation upon which this kingdom was built to an extensive malt bill.

Guajillio and Ancho chilis accentuate bright, fruity chocolate notes and provide a mild pepper flavor that carries a final kiss of cinnamon through the whole brew.

Something cold. Something brewed. Something, something, something darkside. You'll feel like the belle of the ball holding hands with the trendiest style IPA has to offer, but we think this is more than just a fling. West-coast style dank, citrusy, resinous goodness heads down the aisle, only to be left at the altar by the challenging bitterness with which it had grown all too-accustomed.

But chin up. The new guys is refreshingly crisp and clean up reaaal nice. He's the perfect partner for beach days, yard work, and steamy showers. Lean to love again.

Our Altbier is the perfectly sessionable choice for lovers of complex malt character. Balanced, floral hop bitterness and a medium light body help it go down just a bit too easily.

Pittsburgh, we have a problem. With only 160 sunny days a year, the arrival of August means our sunshine reserves are dwindling fast. Sunspot is a little can of barbecues, pool parties, and music festivals you can stow away for when the gray skies roll in again.

A generous helping of Simcoe and Amarillo brings blooming floral notes with bright fruity hints of tangerine and pineapple peeking through. American wheat and pale malt keep the finish smooth and the drinkin’ easy.

Kill the power. The flavor is coming from inside the can! A whiff of this lights-out brew packs a wallop of sticky, west-coast style hoppy goodness, but its deep amber hue alerts you to take notice. This is no everyday IPA. Earthy, fruity Simcoe and tropical, floral Amarillo are spiced up with a distinctive rye kick before caramel malts arrive to round the whole thing out.

Complex sweetness characteristic of orange marmalade and bright berry notes perfectly balance the warmth of rye for a beer that you’ll be running with at full tilt until it’s time to power down.

Buzzwords aside, we’re really damn proud of our mainstay Hazy IPA. Brewed with pale malt, wheat and oats, and hopped with all of our favorite standards, notes bright orange zest, tropical fruit, and peach rings play on full blast.

Just enough bitternessand notes of goldentoast create a balanced tune we’re happy to play on repeat.

Don’t let the imposing appearance fool you. This one’s just a big softie. Clocking in at under 4% ABV, Tall, Dark & Mild goes out to all of our malt lovers in search of a summer crusher.

Notes of pumpernickel, warm chocolate, dried figs, raisin bran & Hobnobs (it is an English beer, after all) come out of their shell a little more with every sip.

The Ryes Guys have returned, and they mean business.

The bigger, bolder version of our hazy rye IPA engulfs your senses with intensely bright notes of grapefruit, blueberry, and pineapple, while rye heats things up on the way down.

Show me someone who can exercise temperance when met with the massively quaffable Irish Red Ale, and I'll show you a true master of self control. For the rest of us, it’s bottoms up today, Hail Marys tomorrow.

Red is the most consumed style of ale in all of Ireland for good reason. Caramel and biscuit malt lend a touch of seductive sweet to its alluring red tint. Simcoe and Cascade hops provide balance and a pleasant bouquet of floral undertones for a flavorful pint that goes down just a tad too easy.

Lauren’s been begging us for a beer featuring a certain non-descript skeleton-based supervillain of a popular cartoon series from the eighties. After she brewed this hazy dream, we could deny her no longer.

Originally a member of our experimental Demo Reel series, Snake Mountain quickly reached the highest peaks of Eternia, otherwise known as the deepest depths of of collective, metaphorical heart.

If you’ve been following along at home, you know that our hero’s real weakness is a satisfying, malty brew, and Maibock is the golden idol that’s slipped away from the release schedule time and time again – until now.

This lighter, crisper relative of a doppelbock balances pleasant, full-bodied malt sweetness with a cleansing bitterness. The Maibock is more aggressively hopped than other Bocks, which makes it a perfect brew between the seasons.

It belongs in a museum!

All together now. El Dorado, Idaho 7, and Citra set a relentless tempo from the first tropical note, and it only gets louder from there. Notes of pineapple and apricot harmonize with drippy pine resin and crisp pear, delivered to you a thick, pale haze.

We the People of the United States have brewed a lot of tasty beers over the years. Our newest series “Dead Presidents” is a celebration of some of our favorites.

Our first edition marries the smooth, balanced sessionability of the country’s most popular Amber Lagers with flavorful notes of toasted malt and earthy citrus from classic German hops.

The second track in our "One Hop Wonder" series puts Mosaic in the spotlight. Whether you know it by name or not, you’ll probably recognize it by taste as Mosaic is the hero in many modern IPAs.

There’s a good reason for that. It belts citrus, grapefruit zest, and tropical funk. It also gives us a chorus of blueberry notes. If you’re a fan of the juice, this is your song.

Brewed in collaboration with Pittsburgh Babes on Bikes and the Frigid Bitch Alley Cat Race is the perfect beer to help knock off the frost. The biggest category of Scotch ales, the Wee Heavy is all about bundling up, sipping slow, and contemplating the nuances of those layers of deep, caramelly malts – all punctuated by a kiss of boozy burn.

English pale, Munich, Caramel, and chocolate malts do all the work here, so kick it into low gear and take it to the finish line in baby steps as you eagerly await the warmer temperatures.

Ryes Again features a complex blend of malt to summon notes of deep, earthy chocolate, coffee roast, and a kiss of molasses underpinning the unmistakable spice of rye.

This beer is the Czech equivalent of a dark lager that can range in qualities from Munich Dunkel to Schwarzbier with greater malt richness.

Ours embraces malt to bring sweet and smooth notes of bread crust, toffee, dates, and milk chocolate.

Satisfying, yet crushable, if you stare too deeply into it, you just may never leave this very spot.

London brown ale is a b-side that’s difficult to find even in its homeland. By combining a high initial gravity with low amounts of attenuation, it sings a milder, sweeter tune than more common English brown ales.

You Necromaniacs out there surely recall Farmer’s Tan, our Breslau-Style Dark Schoeps that made its way into Hop Culture’s 12 Best Best Beers we Tried this Month list last November. Allow us to introduce you to its fairer sister, Porcelain.

Porcelain owes its pale, straw-like hue to an abundance of wheat, Pilsner, and Munich malt. Every full-bodied sip is all about the purity of bready, biscuity grains with a clean finish, untouched by pronounced hop aromas or bitterness.

Plan for many pleasures ahead.

This unique take on a golden ale was born from necessity by Argentinian home-brewers working with the limited ingredients at their disposal. Brewed exclusively with Pils malt and Cascade hops, the simple combination marries clean, honey-like malt sweetness with zesty grapefruit notes and mild bitterness.

The stars say warmer weather is ahead, and you’ll want this bright and sweet slammer by your side to soak up all those rays. Be prepared.

The one you love is closer than you think.

It all started when our pal Mike from Two Frays, made a surprise visit on a Friday. Before we knew it we were talking about our love for lagers and this beer was on the calendar.

If you haven’t had a Vienna Lager in a while, or ever, it might surprise you. Although it kinda looks like a Märzen, don’t be deceived. Märzen emphasizes malt sweetness and residual sugar — while Vienna Lager is dark toasty, very zippy, and finishes dry.

If you've ever tasted the big, square, delight that is a Valkyrie donut, you either spend most mornings pining for more, or you spend most mornings eating donuts. Wherever you land, salvation awaits.

A roasty, malty foundation, rich in notes of chocolate, burnt caramel, and smooth sweetness, meets robust locally-roasted coffee from our friends at Press House. It’s the perfect companion to whatever is fresh-made today.

Alternating bites and sips is the acceptable form, but the daring dunk.

If the prospect of eternal damnation has got you down, perhaps a doughnut will help. Sour beer and sweet, fragrant strawberries combine in a union that seems so wrong, but feels so right.

We brewed this one with Valkyrie’s beloved and delicious strawberry doughnuts in mind, but don’t be bashful with discovering your own favorite pairing. A quick dip into the underworld is a small price to pay to find the perfect match.

The sixth track in our "One Hop Wonder" series puts the spotlight on Cashmere.

Cashmere is a marriage of Cascade and Northern Brewer hops achieved by Washington State University in 2013. The result is a dual-purpose hop with notes of lemon, lime, and melon, which creates a very Fruity Pebbles flavor profile (if we’re being perfectly honest).

It sits on a golden-toast malt backbone, erupts with aromas from the first pour, and finishes with a well-rounded zip.

Before a hop earns its name, it's simply known by a code number. Now-ubiquitous Citra was once referred to as “HBC 394,” for instance.

This series gives you the chance to try a hop for the first time, right alongside us. We’re picking up some ultra refreshing notes of melon, key lime, and cherry blossom with a slightly sweet, lingering finish. It’s an incredible intersection of flavor and crushability that we’re excited to share with you. Let us know what notes you detect through the haze.

There’s nothing more romantic than a big, thick Imperial Stout brewed with chocolate and 168 pounds of real raspberry.

The Neck Romancer pours like a milkshake, erupts with raspberry aroma, and every decadent sip goes down as silky-smooth as the last.

The overall experience is like a liquid raspberry truffle, but the chocolate and hop presence keep the beer balanced and never cloying.

Simcoe is a craft classic that you’ll often find jamming with Cascade, Chinook, and Centennial. But take one taste and you’ll see why we had to give it its own track.

We taste orange gumdrops, citrus zest, and apricots. It’s smooth and zippy, but well-rounded enough to keep you coming back for more.

The final installment of our "Any Holiday, Ever" holiday series ends on a high note.

Belgian brewers are often reluctant to constrain their beers to styles. Dubbel, however, is one of the few that is clearly identifiable. You can trace it back to Medieval times, but the modern interpretation we drink today was revolutionized by more-recent Trappist breweries.

We brewed this true to style with candi sugar and fermented it with Belgian Abbey yeast. The end result is rich with caramel, toasty malt, dark fruit, and spice, and finishes dry and balanced.

Next up in our "Any Holiday, Ever" series is The Shiny One — an Imperial Red Ale.

Don’t get it twisted. This one isn’t an IPA. The Red One is classic California-style Red Strong Ale dripping with hop flavor, yet perfectly balanced with rich malt.

Expect notes of biscuit, orange candy, and bready toasted malt sweetness.

This holiday season, our "Any Holiday, Ever" series presents four big, cozy beers packaged up pretty enough to hang from your tree.

First up, say hello to an Imperial West Coast IPA aptly named “The Green One.”

This American craft beer pioneer is malt balanced and dripping with sticky orange citrus. It finishes zippy with a kiss of pine resin.

We present to you one scrumptious little showstopper.

We’ve stuffed heaps of blueberry puree and a kiss of sweet cinnamon into this big, sticky batch of love. Dark, jammy berry melds with roasty malts and warm spice for a complex, yet inviting aroma. Oats and milk sugar fortify a luscious, smooth body. The finish is marked by lingering berry and cinnamon-sugar sweetness, while Simcoe lends additional depth to the earthy, fruity character of the brew.

This is one Soggy Bottom worthy of a Hollywood handshake.

The fourth track in our "One Hop Wonder" is all about a hop that’s been a part of more chart-toppers than Paul McCartney: Citra.

This standalone track leads off with a blast of citrus aroma the moment the can snaps open. The flavor starts with grapefruit and finishes with Georgia peach and cantaloupe.

Our first-ever sour is a collaboration with our good pals at Two Frays and we couldn’t be happier.

We fermented this Gose on cranberry and just a touch of raspberry, and then conditioned it on French Sea Salt from Steel City Salt Co.

The end-result is an experience led by cranberry, followed up by punchy tartness and brought home with vibrant salinity, and a crisp finish.

In this edition we bring you HBC 630, which is known for strawberry and/or cherry candy vibes. For us, this hazy brew is teeming with fresh strawberry with tangy citrus to round out every sip.

Idaho 7 has been a part of the choir for many of our hazy IPAs, but it’s a hop worthy of a solo.

We taste apricot, orange, papaya, and pine resin. It’s the fruit-cup explosion you’d expect from a modern hazy, but it does pack a little bite.

It's a little over the top, goes great with some cheese, and hits all the right notes to keep you coming back. Wilhelm Scream is a classic in the making.

Five fruity hops lend their star power to this cast. Notes of pineapple and papaya take center stage, but hints of dried cherry and blueberry are the unsung heroes of this thriller.

I scream. You scream. That's it.

Brave Noise is a collaboration with a big goal: a safe and discrimination-free beer industry. A portion of all proceeds will be benefiting the Pittsburgh Brewery Diversity Council.

Our contribution is a hazy pale ale double dry-hopped with Sabro and Mosaic. Expect tropical citrus, coconut, tangerine, and cream.

Is the forbidden fruit really so irresistibly delicious that it's worth damning all of humanity for the rest of eternity to an existence of scarcity, pain, and clothing? Only one way to find out.

Embrace the dark side, and sink into a complex variety of malts that spent an extended period of time in the heat of the boil. Decadent, deep caramel notes are balanced with an indulgent dosing of hops, as fruity notes emerge to introduce the satisfying burn of a palpably boozy finish.

In the final analysis, you chose wisely.

The ancient treasure inside is steeped in well-earned lore. Golden Promise is a heritage variety malt versatile enough to deliver a robust mouthfeel and a flavorful, mellow sweetness to just about any style. Delightfully effervescent, this brew caresses the palate with a velvety touch and a spirited zest. But beware: pour too fast and she'll devour your soul.

We couldn't think of anything more appropriate for Pride than letting our Queer Beer Club collaborate on a beer with us. Our brewers led the club through a full hop selection sensory panel where folks could choose between 6 different hops to collaborate and make a beer.

Unicorpse is the result, and a four-way affair between the three faithful Cs (Centennial, Citra, Cascade) and a newer, citrusy hop called Zythos.

Professor Plum has a way with words. “Fuggle?” “Mandarina Bavaria?” What is this guy even talking about?

You see a glimmer from beneath his fashionable socks. “Sir? What’s with the knife?”

He murders you with the knife. Those aromas were from hops. Those silly words were their names. He gets back to his beer.

It’s the perfect crime.

This deceptive brew tries to play it cool behind a pitch-black veneer, but those wild, fruity aromas give away its pocket aces before you can ante up. Citra and Amarillo hops create fragrant notes of orange, grapefruit, and melon, while pale malt, rye, midnight wheat and barley call their bluff with subtle, roasty biscuit, wheat, and hints of chocolate.

It's a full house of flavors that are so dog-gone tasty, you'd be a fool not to go all in.

At the intersection of imperial stout and barleywine, you’ll find Baba Yaga – a ferocious and formidable beast who will bring any big beer lover to their knees. Strong malt presence and notes of dried fruit sink into a satisfyingly chewy body, providing sweet relief from relentless roasty bitterness.

As you go deeper into the cup, her complexities only grow. Heed this reminder that there’s a forest around those trees.

Think of it as a marriage between your favorite cream ale and caramely, toasty malts. This little number has a soft mouthfeel, clean profile, and a biscuity backbone.

It drinks at a nice-and-slow do-si-do to keep you on your feet all night long, but the flavor will sweep you right off 'em.
