Crush Hour is a monthly Friday happy hour for Pittsburgh's Queer Ladies and Non-Binary People.
We're ecstatic to be collaborating on not just our first beer together, but the first of a recurring series.
We took a classic Blonde Ale — known for its light, bready, and biscuity malt flavor profile - and added fresh lemon and strawberry for that taste of summertime.
The result is an infinitely sessionable beer you can Crush all summer long (pun intended).
A portion of all proceeds sold will benefit "Dress for Success." The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

"Why put a brewery in a former department store for baby goods?" It's a free country. USA, Baby! is our not-so-subtle salute to USA Baby, the bygone business that once called our home their home. We like to imagine that some of you holding this beer in your hand once slept soundly in a crib purchased at its namesake, but maybe that's just the sappy hopeless romantic in us.
Citra, Strata, and Idaho 7 make for a cartload of hoppy characters. Big hop aromas lead the way for fruity notes of mango, bright orange, lime and passion fruit. Dank and piney notes provide balance to bring herin for a surprisingly smooth landing.

You gotta’ keep the people waiting for the jam they all want to hear. One year into the party, it’s finally time to slide a couple of turntables together for an all-out sensory assault. The Decks is an imperial take on our house hazy IPA, The Spins.
Every fruity, sticky note you know by heart is turned up to eleven in a beer with hop aromas that are thumping so hard, the neighbors can smell ‘em from down the street.
Hop levels here probably exceed local ordinances, but even Karen can lighten up and enjoy this one.
To good times and long times.
Notes of: Orange zest, tropical fruit, peach rings, and golden toast.
Did you transform the pilsner or did the pilsner transform you?
Smack dab in the middle of a Czech-style dark and Scharzbier, a Siren Song gives us just a little bit of hope that mystical fantasy can become reality.

Something cold. Something brewed. Something, something, something darkside. You'll feel like the belle of the ball holding hands with the trendiest style IPA has to offer, but we think this is more than just a fling. West-coast style dank, citrusy, resinous goodness heads down the aisle, only to be left at the altar by the challenging bitterness with which it had grown all too-accustomed.
But chin up. The new guys is refreshingly crisp and clean up reaaal nice. He's the perfect partner for beach days, yard work, and steamy showers. Lean to love again.

Kill the power. The flavor is coming from inside the can! A whiff of this lights-out brew packs a wallop of sticky, west-coast style hoppy goodness, but its deep amber hue alerts you to take notice. This is no everyday IPA. Earthy, fruity Simcoe and tropical, floral Amarillo are spiced up with a distinctive rye kick before caramel malts arrive to round the whole thing out.
Complex sweetness characteristic of orange marmalade and bright berry notes perfectly balance the warmth of rye for a beer that you’ll be running with at full tilt until it’s time to power down.

Don’t let the imposing appearance fool you. This one’s just a big softie. Clocking in at under 4% ABV, Tall, Dark & Mild goes out to all of our malt lovers in search of a summer crusher.
Notes of pumpernickel, warm chocolate, dried figs, raisin bran & Hobnobs (it is an English beer, after all) come out of their shell a little more with every sip.
The Ryes Guys have returned, and they mean business.
The bigger, bolder version of our hazy rye IPA engulfs your senses with intensely bright notes of grapefruit, blueberry, and pineapple, while rye heats things up on the way down.
Show me someone who can exercise temperance when met with the massively quaffable Irish Red Ale, and I'll show you a true master of self control. For the rest of us, it’s bottoms up today, Hail Marys tomorrow.
Red is the most consumed style of ale in all of Ireland for good reason. Caramel and biscuit malt lend a touch of seductive sweet to its alluring red tint. Simcoe and Cascade hops provide balance and a pleasant bouquet of floral undertones for a flavorful pint that goes down just a tad too easy.
Enjoy. Repent. Repeat.

If you’ve been following along at home, you know that our hero’s real weakness is a satisfying, malty brew, and Maibock is the golden idol that’s slipped away from the release schedule time and time again – until now.
This lighter, crisper relative of a doppelbock balances pleasant, full-bodied malt sweetness with a cleansing bitterness. The Maibock is more aggressively hopped than other Bocks, which makes it a perfect brew between the seasons.
The Grisette has risen from the soot and ashes of its near-forgotten and dubious folkloric history as the post-work refreshment of choice for Belgian Coal Miners and onto the radar of most craft enthusiasts. But, so many liberties have been taken with the style in its renaissance that we firmly claim this delicious, crushable ale as a true "Resurrection."
Pilsner, malt, oat, and wheat team up with Saphir hops for a light-bodied brew with a wild ride of familiar, fruity flavors, balanced with notes of botanicals and crisp Triscuit crackers. If you're trying to convert someone into a craft beer lover, this one's a great place to start.

We the People of the United States have brewed a lot of tasty beers over the years. Our newest series “Dead Presidents” is a celebration of some of our favorites.
Our first edition marries the smooth, balanced sessionability of the country’s most popular Amber Lagers with flavorful notes of toasted malt and earthy citrus from classic German hops.
Disclaimer: drinking this beer will not provide divine knowledge of good and evil.
Forbidden Fruit is a modern take on a peculiar historical style. Reaching peak popularity in the late 1800s, a traditional Lichtenhainer is marked by a subtle balance of smoke and sour, with a low ABV.
We’ve reimagined that unique vehicle by uppingthe smoke and fermenting the brew on on a heaping dose of blackberry and peach purées. The result is rounder, fuller bodied, and more robust than its forebearer – providing a level of savory depth beyond a familiar fruited sour. The rewards are great, but be warned. Life may never be quite the same again.
Notes of: Vibrant tartness, light smoke, and fruit punch.
The second track in our "One Hop Wonder" series puts Mosaic in the spotlight. Whether you know it by name or not, you’ll probably recognize it by taste as Mosaic is the hero in many modern IPAs.
There’s a good reason for that. It belts citrus, grapefruit zest, and tropical funk. It also gives us a chorus of blueberry notes. If you’re a fan of the juice, this is your song.
Pair with: Tandoori chicken, spicy buffalo cauliflower, shortbread cookies

What could be a more appropriate way to celebrate our first year of resurrecting dead beers than with a style that was compared to death itself – even in the peak of its popularity. At 125 IBUs, it was described as “bitter as death in the gallows.” Merseburger’s 18th Century contemporaries attributed health benefits ranging from “aiding the excitement of the intestines,” to “strengthening the stomach,” to “accelerating the flow of blood,” all to the beer’s overwhelming bitterness.
Sus, but okay.
Ours starts with loads of bitter hops and gets a pleasant dose of additional bitterness from roasty malt. To round out the bitterness, we added bitter orange peel for some contrasting bitterness.
If we had to choose one word to describe this beer, we might choose, “bitter.”
Notes of: Dank hops, dark chocolate, intense roast, orange bitters

Two-row malt and a one-two punch of malted and unmalted wheat bring a wallop of grain flavor. Those are some sweet, juicy hops you got there. It’d be a real shame if something were to…happen to them. Mosaic, El Dorado, and experimental hops walk into a bar and cross paths with some real spicy characters. Plot twist: they become the fastest of friends.
Ryes Guys combines fruity hop aromas with a malt bill highlighted by the autumnal spice of rye. Together, the duo makes the ideal IPA for the shifting of the seasons. Welcome to the Family.
We didn’t choose the malty beer lifestyle. The malty beer lifestyle chose us.
London brown ale is a b-side that’s difficult to find even in its homeland. By combining a high initial gravity with low amounts of attenuation, it sings a milder, sweeter tune than more common English brown ales.
Death or Glory has stadium-shaking levels of thumping sweet malty notes like sticky toffee, dried fig, and chocolate biscuits, but clocks in below 5% ABV to keep you crowd surfin’ all the way through the encore.

Force of Nature sits in the eye of a storm of new and old, roasty and sweet. Fruit-forward hops spin ‘round and ‘round with caramelly, roasty malt.
Is it the perfect hoppy beer for winter, or the perfect stout for the summer? Yes.
You can take cover, hunker down, and put a death grip on all you hold dear, or you can open wide and enjoy the ride. Try not to spill.
If riding the waves of the Pacific coast just doesn’t quite give you the thrills it once did, it’s time to venture beyond the buoys. Where the Boardwalk Ends, uncharted levels of hop intensity begins.

Originating in Kulmbach, Munich, the dark beer style’s peak popularity in the states saw it brewed en masse in the States, including Pittsburgh, all the way into the 20th Century. Already on its last legs, Prohibition swooped in to FINISH HIM, laying waste to virtually all beers outside of macro American lager for years to come.

We collaborated with John Schalocksy of ODDPITTSBURGH, the premiere source of The Odd, Mysterious & Fascinating History Of Pittsburgh to bring you a special resurrection inspired by Pittsburgh’s first-ever recorded brewery, the Point Brewery.
Founded in 1794, the Point Brewery produced beers with British influence nearly a century prior to the first batch of Iron City Beer (1861). Their Best Strong Beer, billed as a “porter fit for the Natchez and New-Orleans markets,” was heavily hopped, as any beer traveling great distances prior to the advent of cold storage had to be.
In the spirit of Best Strong Beer, we present Resurrection No. 25: Export India Porter. It has all the rich malt complexity of a Porter with much more hop character. It’s big on flavor, yet sessionable enough to sip on all day long on a crisp fall day.
At the intersection of imperial stout and barleywine, you’ll find Baba Yaga – a ferocious and formidable beast who will bring any big beer lover to their knees. Strong malt presence and notes of dried fruit sink into a satisfyingly chewy body, providing sweet relief from relentless roasty bitterness.
As you go deeper into the cup, her complexities only grow. Heed this reminder that there’s a forest around those trees.

Some people think he’s gone for good. Most Think he never even existed. Contemporary sightings are quickly dismissed as a hoax. But we believe… in the Burton Ale.
He inspires terror, awe, and grand conspiracy theories everywhere he wanders, but he can’t hear a lick of it over the sick beats on his AirPods.
The Midnight Whistler is smooth, luscious, and sweet with a rich, chewy body. A firm thud of bitterness with each sip reminds you to treat this beast with respect and document your findings. You never know when you’ll catch another glimpse.
2022’s batch has been lagered an unrelenting 10 weeks. It’s bready, biscuity, and malt forward with a little Noble Hop zip to keep it incredibly balanced. The lagering process made it crystal clear as God Intended.

When it comes to new beer styles, necessity’s done a lot of babymakin’ over the years. Climate, transportation requirements, and ingredient availability dictated the composition of many of the most well-known styles on Earth – and far more odd-ball offerings to fall through the cracks of time.
Of course, Dampfbier falls in the latter category. Hefe yeast, usually seen running around with wheat beers like a classic hefeweizen, is shacking up a with 100% barley malt ale. The result is crisp and bready like your favorite ale, with notes of banana and clove to keep things spicy.
*Disclaimer: drinking this beer will not provide divine knowledge of good and evil. Forbidden Fruit is a modern take on a peculiar historical style. Reaching peak popularity in the late 1800s, a traditional Lichtenhainer is marked by a subtle balance of smoke and sour, with an ABV below 4%. We’ve reimagined that unique vehicle by upping the smoke and fermenting the brew on fruit. This variation includes: mango, passionfruit, and guava. The result is rounder, fuller bodied, and more robust than its forebearer – providing a level of savory depth beyond a familiar fruited sour.
The rewards are great, but be warned – life may never be quite the same again.
Notes of: Refreshing tartness, light smoke, and fruit rollup.
Okay, maybe not, but if the delightfully hard-to-pin-down style ever does have its moment, we’ll be there. Tart and sweet black currant pairs with fruity yeast esters and wheat as perfectly as jam on toast. Strisselspalt and Aramis hops provide subtle notes of citrus and spice to brighten up every cozy sip.
Spread the word: Keep your face buried in the cup. Not the phone.
Notes of: Jam on wheat toast, graham cracker crust, candied pear, and black pepper.

‘Tis the season for an uprising anywhere in the world – whether it’s 1776 in the states, or 1830 in France. Who wants to go out and overthrow a monarch when it’s all cold and stuff, anyway?
In honor of the month of freedom, our third seasonal “Biere” is equal parts resurrection and revolution, as we present our ultimate take on a French-style summertime ale. A toasty-caramelly-clean malt bill meets our favorite French hops for the charismatic liter we can all rally behind.

A kick of lime hops aboard for a kiss of sunshine at the end of the tunnel.

Kuit is a wheat beer that enjoyed centuries of popularity until the mid 1800s, when it was overtaken by a new rival: The Münster Altbier. This tart, blond “Altbier” had almost nothing in common with the German iterations we’re familiar with today, but that’s a tale for another beer.
The style evolved substantially over the years before the final Kuit brewer died in Münster in 1808. We did the mash, it caught on in a flash, and now, the beast lives again. Perle and Saphir hops join oats and wheat for a substantial, yet drinkable ale with subtle spice and floral notes.

It was a long road of tinkering with a beer series we called “N-E, IPA Ever” to get to our house hazy “The Spins.”
We’ve missed the constant experimentation that series facilitated, so we’ve decided to pick up where “N-E IPA, Ever” left off with a new series — “Demo Reel.”
For the inaugural edition we took the “The Spins” and added the hops earlier in the brewing process to get some old-school hop zip that you don’t find often anymore. To balance it out, we double dry-hopped earlier in the fermentation process to promote bio-transformation for more aroma and amplified fruity notes.
What came out is an incredibly aromatic, fruit-forward hazy with a zippy backbone.

Parkour is a springtime beer for those who prefer an unconventional path. Bière de Printemps, or “Spring Beer,” is the light-footed cousin of Bière de Garde, combining floral and subtle lemony citrus notes with light caramel sweetness and spice character. Unlike its boozier relative, this beer is best enjoyed fresh, rather than aged.
Traces of the style date back to the late 1300s in Arras, France, where the flowering of its ingredients coincided with the first harvest of the year and a celebratory brew. Raise a glass to the mostly-sunny skies before the clouds roll in again. 5…4…3…2…

When you think of typical session beers from England, you probably imagine an amber or ruby colored beer like a Bitter.
Just the name suggests, however, the British Golden is pale in color, which is relatively unique from mainstream English beers. The resulting malt bill is kept light with flavors of fresh bread and a touch of biscuit, while putting the emphasis on a zippy hop quality.
Forgone examples of the style originally utilized English hops, but modern resurrections tend to utilize American citrus-flavored hops to maximize the refreshing experience of the beer. For us, we picked three classics: Centennial, Amarillo, and Citra.
The eclectic collection of techniques inspired the name and brand behind this beer. In 19th century Britain, Rag-and-Bone men traveled on foot, street-by-street collecting items left by the wayside and reselling them to people who give these dusty gems new life and purpose.
Notes of: Doughy malt, fresh citrus, and pleasant bitterness.

A little over a month ago, we released Forbidden Fruit: Blackberry Apricot in collaboration with our friends at Trace. The overwhelmingly positive reception to the unique combination of fruit, smoke, and sour had us daydreaming about new fruit combinations to try next.
A special thanks to Trace for partnering with us to get this off the ground. We hope to collaborate again on a special edition in the future.
The second installment features blueberry and apricot. The fruit combination balances the vibrant tartness into a sessionable treat that might just have you smashing the entire 4-pack in one sitting.
If this is your first time having this brew, Lichtenhainer is a resurrection smoked-wheat sour from the 1800s.
Notes of: Refreshing tartness, light smoke, and fruit rollup.
Pennsylvania Swankey enjoyed the spotlight for decades until the ol' prohibition hook yanked it off stage. After 100 years of crickets, it’s ready for a comeback tour.
Similar in body and color to an English mild, this low-alcohol brew was made to sip on through an entire evening of embarrassment-free schmoozing. Historically spiked with anise seed, our take instead taps into the awesome power of hops. Polish Marynka lends notes of hay, lemon, and anise seed for an earthy and herbal contrast to the chocolate and caramel malts. The resulting cola-like combination is an easy drinker full of surprising nuance.
Whether you’re in the mood to get all gussied up or just want to maintain that proper poise as you knock back a few, Top Hat’s got your back.
Disclaimer: drinking this beer will not provide divine knowledge of good and evil.
Forbidden Fruit is a modern take on a peculiar historical style in collaboration with Trace.
It’s a pure coincidence that installment No. 13 in our resurrection series sports a black cat on the can art, but will you try your luck when it crosses your path? After all, the range of flavor that may hide behind a wall of darkness is something of a marvel. Flemish for black, “zwert’ beer is our latest foray into such dark arts.
Traditionally, a cauldron of this near-forgotten brew contained gruit instead of hops. In our modern take, Chinook hops channel those same fruity, spicy notes, while Munich and roasted malts lend hints of nutty caramel. The nuanced combination drinks easy and finishes clean thanks to a hybrid lager yeast.
About the name: “Send your cat” is a Flemish expression that means something like,“ I don’t want you to come to my party, so send your cat instead.” Rejection never tasted so good.
Notes of: Caramel, nutty malt, chocolate, and light roast with a clean finish.
Pair with: Mussels and fries, Vol au Vent, beef stew, or chocolate mousse.

Next up in our "Any Holiday, Ever" series is The Shiny One — a 7.5% Winter Warmer.
Winter Warmer originates from a long line of cozy cold weather beers. You can trace it through history from Scandinavian (Yule Ale) to British brewing traditions (Samuel Smith’s Winter Welcome) to eventual American adaptations in Northern California (Anchor Christmas Ale and Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale) and Oregon (Deschutes Jubelale).
Ours favors the British tradition — which forsakes spices and other adjuncts to let the malt bill shine — and is hopped with the three classic Pacific Northwest Cs (Centennial, Cascade, and Chinook).
The result is a drinking experience defined by caramel, deep molasses, and pine spice. It finishes with a slight warming sensation, which will help you beat the cold this holiday season.

In our second tag-team effort with Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, we give you the ultimate Fall Float. Straight out of the can, you’ll be sipping on a smooth, roasty porter, fall-ified with Pumpkin Spice and real vanilla for all those #PSL vibes. But we think sweater season deserves a little more.
Get a big heaping scoop of Millies® Homemade Pumpkin Pie ice cream to amplify the flavors, or accentuate the natural coffee notes of the roasty malts. Put a cinnamon-sugar rim on it. Top it off with some whipped cream. Stick a cinnamon stick in it. Take selfies with it. We won’t judge. Fall is fleeting, so live it up.

But, it’s the toasty, caramelly richness and amber hue that serve to showcase and enhance that big, dry bird. Bring some to this year’s festivities to be the beginning of a beautiful new tradition and take your seat at the throne.

The end-result is an experience led by cranberry, followed up by punchy tartness and brought home with vibrant salinity, and a crisp finish.

Consider this penance for every time you rolled up to McDonald's drive thru™ only to be told "I'm sorry, we are no longer serving breakfast." For every time you smashed the "snooze" button one too many times. For every time you've poured a big ol' bowl of Cheerios only to find out your milk has gone rank. For every time you just thought whatever you were running to do was more important than the most important meal of the day. Shame.
You've got a big day behind you. We have a big, balanced meal-in-a-can to help you prepare for whatever's next. Oats and caramel malts provide a hearty body, and milk sugar rounds out roasty notes with a nice, smooth richness. They say don't mess with perfection, but we went and conditioned the whole thing on Press House coffee, a healthy dose of maple syrup, and a pinch of sweet love, more commonly known as cinnamon. It's a burly, rib-sticking brew that's truly worthy of a person such as yourself.
Before a hop earns its name, it's simply known by a code number. Now-ubiquitous Citra was once referred to as “HBC 394,” for instance.
In this edition we bring you HBC 630, which is known for strawberry and/or cherry candy vibes. For us, this hazy brew is teeming with fresh strawberry with tangy citrus to round out every sip.
The third track in our "One Hop Wonder" series puts Idaho 7 in the spotlight.
Idaho 7 has been a part of the choir for many of our hazy IPAs, but it’s a hop worthy of a solo.
We taste apricot, orange, papaya, and pine resin. It’s the fruit-cup explosion you’d expect from a modern hazy, but it does pack a little bite.
Notes of: Apricot, orange, papaya, pine resin
Pair with: Grilled steak with chimichurri, pho, wedge salad, or white chocolate

An always extensive and impressive selection of craft brews made Hal's Bottle Shop our beer hangout of choice long before Necromancer was even a twinkle in the eye. Now, the Babcock Blvd. band is rocking out our first collaborative effort: Highway to Hal's Foreign Extra Stout.
With a shared love for uncommon brews, we peeled off the main road and onto the dimly-lit terrain of a style that you'll be hard-pressed to find executed by anyone other than the original stout lords: Guinness.
Our iteration is full of roasty malts and generously hopped with Galena and East Kent Goldings for a robust and bitey stout. This one's for the people in the Rare Beer Club section.

What is it about the smell and crackle of burning wood that set the spirit ablaze? The combination of oak-smoked malts, noble hops and intense carbonation brought the popularity of "Polish Champagne" to a fever pitch in the 19th century before the fall-out of the World Wars and Soviet communism led to its ultimate demise in the early 1990s.
Our modern Grodziskie tempers the intensity of oak smoke with the addition of malted wheat. Perle hops permeate floral notes and a flicker of bitterness for a balanced ale that drinks a bit like fire-kissed pilsner to feed your primal side.
TIP: If your taste buds are in shock at first, give it another try or two or three to acclimate them to a smoky brew. At 3.2% ABV, who's counting, anyway?
Notes of: Oak smoke, floral spice, mild sweet breadiness.

A deceptively complex brew whose mastery demands precision and patience, the Kölsch felt like the perfect match for the blown glass artists at Pittsburgh Glass Center. The process is strictly defined, but the artistry within those restrictions creates the novelty of each take. Our faithful rendition is low on sweetness with some subtle, distinctive spice character from Vienna malts and finishes with a light, hoppy zip.
Kölsch is technically an ale, thanks to the use of top-fermenting yeast, but it spends extra time in the tank at low temperatures like a lager, where it earns its supreme drinkability. Some may say this one’s better suited for the summer, but this time of the year, if it’s German, we’re drinking it.

There's an old German idiom, translating to "Glück (Happiness) is the only thing that doubles when it's shared." Unfortunately, Glug Glug Glück doesn't work that way, but enjoying the malty taste of the coming of harvest is one of the surest ways to spread “Glück.” Coincidence? I think not.
Our festive lager hits the spot as the temperature begins to drop, thanks to a rich presence of Pilsner, Munich, and Caramel malts. Biscuity aromas lead to an inviting sweetness, finishing with a clean, hoppy bite to bring you back for another.
We now conclude this description with the inevitable “Prost!”

The deadest, most forgotten style we've resurrected to date, Purl was first brewed with wormwood, a perennial most commonly known today for its presence in absinthe and the alleged psychotropic effects thereof. More recent iterations contain ingredients ranging from wormwood, to gin, to sugars, to orange peel – all foregoing ourbeloved hops.
Authenticity matters, but not tasting, "like total shit," matters more. Our take features the mild, pleasant spicy notes of Saphir hops, along with ginger, orange peel, anda touch of licorice. The result is a malty, mild English-style ale that approximates the key qualities of the original, all in a package that even uncultured swine like you can appreciate.

You’ve likely seen and loved our Extra Special Bitter “Can of Worms.” So you may be wondering, what’s a Best Bitter? Is it better? Is it best?
Various categories of beers are formulated in a ladder system. Basically, by using more or less of relatively the same ingredients you can create different strengths, styles, and experiences of beers. The most common example is: Pale Ale to India Pale Ale to Barleywine.
In this case, the category of British Bitters go from Ordinary Bitter to Best Bitter to Strong Bitter (AKA: Extra Special Bitter).
Being the middle rung, Best Bitter has a lower ABV than ESB with an emphasis on the bittering hops, which are authentically British East Kent Goldings and Fuggle. Although it has a lighter, more sessionable impression, this one doesn’t lack any depth of malt flavor or snappiness.

Please don't feed the birds. The fine folks at Pigeon have sacrificed a heaping helping of their marble bagels for the greater good in the tenth installment of our resurrection series: Kvass.
Popular in the 16th century, traditional Kvass was fermented from stale rye bread and contained only trace amounts of alcohol. Our modern ode to the style begins with a malty, spicy rye base and a deep amber color. A whole lotta locally-baked Pigeon bagels lend additional body with a hint of caraway spice. You may look at the eighth installment of our resurrection series and think, “What on God’s Green Earth is a Breslau-Style Dark Schoeps?” “How do I even say that?” “Is Necromancer just making shit up now?”
That’s a good question. You have lots of good questions.
Schoeps (or Schöps) is, in fact, one of the very earliest recorded style designations – first mentioned in writing around 1550. Schoeps range in hue from straw pale to near-black, united by malt sweetness and a strong wheat presence.
Farmer’s Tan is deep brown and full-bodied with nutty, toasty malts and midnight wheat, while just enough Saphir hops and pale malts provide tasteful cover for a clean, balanced finish.
Comforting, subtle, persistent, and just a tad mysterious. If this is your first Schwarzbier, the pitch black hue of this German Lager may first take you aback, but the velvety texture, roasty flavors, and sweet aromas will have you coming back for more.
Pilsner, munich, caramel and dark malts lure you in with a big, bready aroma and rewards you for sipping slowly to savor its notes of subtle caramel and dark chocolate. Lagered for an unrelenting 7 weeks — and clocking in at a sessionable 5.4% — Night Light can hold steady by your side til the break of day.

Is the forbidden fruit really so irresistibly delicious that it's worth damning all of humanity for the rest of eternity to an existence of scarcity, pain, and clothing? Only one way to find out.

A Louisville classic, the Kentucky Common Ale reigned as a regional favorite from the Civil War until Prohibition, but has since been pronounced dead, buried, and almost forgotten. We must say, it's a strange fate for a brew that stole our hearts from the very first sip.
Think of it as a marriage between your favorite cream ale and caramely, toasty malts. This little number has a soft mouthfeel, clean profile, and a biscuity backbone.
It drinks at a nice-and-slow do-si-do to keep you on your feet all night long, but the flavor will sweep you right off 'em.
Notes of: Caramel, biscuit, sweet maize, beer
Pair with: BBQ pork, Thai Food, portobello burgers, or flan.
